LINOCUT PRINTING WITH RYAN! | FINE ARTS & PRINTMAKING
Come create, relax, and learn something new with an amazing local artist!
Meet Ryan, one of our incredibly talented fine arts instructors at Unwind & Design Creative Studio!
Originally from Georgia, Ryan has made Imperial Valley his home and has become a wonderful part of our local arts and cultural community!
Ryan works with the Desert Museum to help preserve our valley’s rich history and collaborate with local Indigenous communities. He’s a passionate advocate for the arts, culture, and community giving.
His artwork has been featured in countless galleries, exhibitions, and competitions, and he brings years of artistic knowledge and experience to every class he teaches!
And did we mention he travels all the way from Ocotillo to teach with us in El Centro? That alone shows how much heart he puts into his work!
Aside from being an incredibly talented artist, Ryan is genuinely one of the nicest, coolest people you’ll meet! He’s kind, creative, down-to-earth, and loves sharing his knowledge.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! BEGINNERS WELCOME!
WHAT IS LINOCUT PRINTING?
Linocut is a fun printmaking technique where you carve your own design into a block, roll on ink, and transfer your artwork onto paper or other surfaces!
Create beautiful botanical prints, landscapes, patterns, personalized stamps, greeting cards, and so much more!
The best part? You can use your design to make multiple prints!
Ryan also teaches Linocut at the museum, and we’re so excited to offer this unique art experience right here at our studio!
Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, want to explore a different art technique, or simply enjoy spending time being creative, we’d love to have you!
Bring a friend, family member, or come on your own. Everyone is welcome!
