🚨 The countdown to graduation is on! Day 4 of our Fa'asamoa Village Life Summer Camp is all about precision and performance.Today we are running full, synchronized dress rehearsals for our Pesega (10 songs) and Siva (2 dances). Parents, come ready to check in on your student's final portfolios!

🗓️ DAY 4: THE REHEARSAL & FEAST PREP (Thursday, June 4th)
Theme: Preparing the Community Gathering (Fa'atasiga)
Daily Language Goal: Big numbers review & Final Song Rehearsal
Special Note: Parents of children ages 5 and under must be present. Local leaders are invited to preview our exhibition setups!
🕒 Hourly Activity & Time Schedule
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Opening & Vocals: Complete run-through of all 10 Songs back-to-back from memory to solidify choral harmony.
11:30 AM – 12:15 PM
Full Dance Dress Rehearsal: Polishing transitions between the Siva and the Fa'ataupati. Ensuring all dancers know their spacing on the floor.
12:15 PM – 12:30 PM
🥪 Lunch Break: 15-minute supervised lunch block.
12:30 PM – 1:15 PM
Handicrafts Finishing School: Final touches on all 3 items: finalizing Siapo details, finishing fine edge cuts on the Lalaga, and checking Pale fittings.
1:15 PM – 1:45 PM
Culinary Arts Integration: Presenting food safely. Learning the cultural protocols of serving elders first (Fa'aloalo) and how to arrange a traditional presentation plate.
1:45 PM – 2:00 PM
Review & Snacks: Prep discussion for tomorrow's big graduation day, final announcements, and snack time.
🎒 Activity Guide & Supplies
Creative Activity: The Elder Mock-Service – Students roleplay gracefully carrying plates and serving our parent/volunteer "elders" using polite formal phrases.
Supplies to Bring / Wishlist for Donations: Paper plates, napkins, table covers, safety pins (for cultural dance wraps), and donations of pre-packaged juice boxes.
