Every Thursday, June 4 - July 16
Time: 3:30PM to 5:30PM
Location: Anchorage Red Cross Office
This free program offers a variety of fun, hands-on, and educational opportunities for youth ages 13–18 to get involved, build skills, and make a positive impact in the community.
This summer, participants will have the opportunity to:
Meet our canine helpers and explore our animal visitation program
Help your family prepare for emergencies
Learn how the Red Cross provides shelter during disasters
Earn free babysitting & first aid certification
Create social media content for a global nonprofit
Earn swag through volunteer service hours
Make friends, build leadership skills, and make a difference—all while having fun! Spots are limited, so we encourage you to sign up early!
To officially become a Red Cross volunteer, all interested youth will also need to complete the online volunteer application linked above. A parent or guardian must provide consent for participants under 18, which helps speed up the approval process.
