Our students are diving deeper into their cultural foundations, practical weaving skills, and bilingual language structures.
Whether youโre in the Primary, Intermediate, or Youth & Adult class, today is all about building confidence as we head toward our grand finale exhibition.

Theme: Everyday Life and Working Together (Atamai)
Daily Language Goal: Counting 11โ20 & Songs 4, 5, and 6
Special Note: Parents must stay with children ages 5 and under.

11:00 AM โ 11:30 AM
Opening & Vocals: Reviewing numbers 1โ10, introducing 11โ20. Vocals and lyric review for Songs 4, 5, and 6.
11:30 AM โ 12:15 PM
Siva & Fa'ataupati Sequence: Combining yesterday's steps into a short choreography sequence. Focusing on hand gracefulness (Siva) and timing accuracy (Fa'ataupati).
12:15 PM โ 12:30 PM
๐ฅช Lunch Break: 15-minute supervised lunch block.
12:30 PM โ 1:15 PM
Handicrafts & Painting: Transitioning from paper to actual texture. Introducing Lalaga (weaving) foundations. Students practice basic i luga / i lalo (up / down) technical weave logic using colored paper strips.
1:15 PM โ 1:45 PM
Culinary Arts Integration: Traditional desserts! Introducing the steps of making Vaisalo (coconut soup) or Koko Alaisa (cocoa rice). Students help measure ingredients while learning their names.

Review & Snacks: Snack distribution and a fun game testing memory of the songs.

Creative Activity: The Weaving Race โ A fun, low-stakes team challenge to see which small group can perfectly complete a paper-strip weave pattern first.
Supplies to Bring / Wishlist for Donations: Colored construction paper, scissors, rulers, coconut milk cans, and white rice (for culinary vocabulary displays).
