Please join us for an in depth look at our new exhibition, Guildhall Library 600! Senior Librarian Melanie Strong will share the stories of the objects in the exhibition including our oldest book, medieval manuscripts, early printed books as well as Victorian and modern publications and why they were chosen for this exhibition. We will delve deeper into the history of the original library and what recent scholarship has uncovered about how the library was used, and the changing story of what happened to the original collections.

The library will not be available for consulting books or using the computers during this time.
