About this Event

Explore the fascinating history of the Cemetery, which offers a unique blend of Jewish traditions and Victorian funerary architecture. Learn about our historic buildings, listed monuments and the lives and legacies of the artists, architects, and creative industry personalities resting here.

The only Jewish cemetery registered as a Park and Garden of Special Historic Interest, Willesden is a remarkable survival, telling the stories of the first ethnic minority to settle in Britain in modern times.

Our Heritage Centre offers more opportunities about the rich history of the Cemetery with a free exhibition, an introductory film and free trail leaflet, as well as children’s trails for various ages.

Free parking is available, including disabled spaces. A loan of a wheelchair is available on request.

Kindly join us in following Jewish customs in the cemetery – we do not eat, drink, play music or walk dogs in the Cemetery grounds.
