Each region of Thailand offers its own unique dishes and flavors. From noodle dishes to white rice-based, from strictly vegetables to incorporating meat, it is all dependent on regionality and availability of resources. At this cooking class at the Edible Magazine Summer House by Sister Kitchen Thai, gain an understanding of the food’s origins and its popularity in America, while learning to prepare 3 -4 authentic Thai dishes. Brecon Estate wines and nonalcoholic beverages are included.
For years Sister Kitchen Thai has been serving some of the most beloved Thai food in all of San Luis Obispo County. When the brick and mortar location in Grover Beach closed its doors, a collective sadness washed over the area. Thankfully we all didn't have to wait long for Sister Kitchen to find a new home, this time in the form of the Sister Kitchen Thai food truck. This is the first time owners Ladda and Jeremiah are leading a cooking class, sharing their Thai food cooking secrets. We are all in for a treat.

The Edible Magazine San Luis Obispo Summer House is a celebration of all things culinary, as we bring the pages of the magazine to life at the beautiful La Lomita Ranch. This four-day gathering of experiences is an opportunity to try one-time-only food collaborations; cooking classes; farm shares; dinner parties; media meet-and-greets with Edible magazine staff; chef’s tables; and more, enjoying it all- together.
