“Doc Talk” is a limited presentation series on documentary filmmaking hosted by KHOI Community Radio in collaboration with the Ames Regional Economic Alliance and the Ames Documentary Film Festival.
Join us on Wednesday, September 9, for a presentation from Charles Morris who will talk about the craft of documentary filmmaking and share clips of his work.
Charles Morris is an award-winning filmmaker, director, and editor whose work focuses on investigative storytelling in forest and animal conservation. He has produced four feature-length films, more than 100 short-form videos, and multiple podcast series, and currently directs the Iowa Prairie Documentary Project.
Each presentation is free and open to the public and will take place from 7:00–8:30 p.m., with time allocated for Q&A.
The series is supported in part through local option tax funds provided by the City of Ames through the Commission on the Arts.
