“Doc Talk” is a limited presentation series on documentary filmmaking hosted by KHOI Community Radio in collaboration with the Ames Regional Economic Alliance and the Ames Documentary Film Festival.
Join us on Wednesday, June 17, for a presentation from Tony Moton who will talk about the craft of documentary filmmaking and share clips of his work.
Tony Moton is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Journalism and Sports Media at Iowa State University’s Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication. A Chicago native, he is an award-winning journalist and screenwriter who holds master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and UCLA, where he received a Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award.
Each presentation is free and open to the public and will take place from 7:00–8:30 p.m., with time allocated for Q&A.
The series is supported in part through local option tax funds provided by the City of Ames through the Commission on the Arts.
