This forum will feature candidates seeking office in the City of Fairbanks and City of North Pole, with discussion focused on the issues most directly affecting our communities and local economy, including:
• Local government and city services
• Public safety
• Business climate
• Housing
• Infrastructure
• Community development
The Fairbanks Chamber Candidate Forum Series provides a professional, nonpartisan opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their priorities, perspectives, and approach to the issues facing our community.
Open to the Public
You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend. Registration is required, and advance registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
Registration Options:
• Listening Fee: $5
• Lunch: $30 Chamber members | $35 non-members
• Table of 8 with lunch: $300 members | $325 non-members
Ask the Candidates
In addition to questions developed by the Chamber’s forum planning committee, time will be set aside for attendees to ask candidates questions directly from the floor.
A Nonpartisan Forum
The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce does not endorse candidates participating in these forums. The Candidate Forum Series is designed to provide a fair, nonpartisan platform for public education, civic engagement, and meaningful discussion about issues affecting Fairbanks, Interior Alaska, and our business community.
