The final forum in the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Candidate Forum Series will focus on candidates seeking to represent Alaska in Congress, with discussion centered on federal decisions that directly affect Interior Alaska’s economy, businesses and communities.
Topics may include:
Federal spending and fiscal policy
Alaska’s military presence and national defense
Transportation and infrastructure investment
Energy development and affordability
Resource development
Federal permitting and regulatory policy
Federal lands and access
Workforce and economic development
Alaska’s relationship with federal agencies
Alaska’s role in national economic, energy and security priorities
The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce Candidate Forum Series provides a professional, nonpartisan opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their priorities, perspectives and approach to representing Alaska at the federal level.
Open to the Public
You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend. Registration is required, and advance registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
Registration Options:
Listening Fee: $5
Lunch: $30 Chamber members | $35 non-members
Table of 8 with lunch: $300 members | $325 non-members
Ask the Candidates
In addition to questions developed by the Chamber’s forum planning committee, attendees will have opportunities to participate and hear candidates respond to questions focused on federal policy, Alaska’s economy and the issues that matter to Interior Alaska.

The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce does not endorse candidates participating in these forums. The Candidate Forum Series is designed to provide a fair, nonpartisan platform for public education, civic engagement and meaningful discussion about the decisions affecting Alaska and Interior communities.
