This forum will bring together candidates seeking seats on the Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly for a focused discussion on the issues affecting residents, businesses, and the future of Interior Alaska.
Topics may include:
• Borough budget and fiscal priorities
• Taxes and the cost of doing business
• Housing and land development
• Infrastructure and transportation
• Economic development
• Public services and quality of life
• Workforce and community growth
• How the Borough can better support local businesses and employers
The Fairbanks Chamber Candidate Forum Series provides a professional, nonpartisan opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their priorities, perspectives, and approach to the decisions that affect our community.
Open to the Public
You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend. Registration is required, and advance registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
Registration Options:
• Listening Fee: $5
• Lunch: $30 Chamber members | $35 non-members
• Table of 8 with lunch: $300 members | $325 non-members
Ask the Candidates
In addition to questions developed by the Chamber’s forum planning committee, attendees will have opportunities to participate and hear candidates respond to questions focused on the issues that matter to our community and business climate.
A Nonpartisan Forum
The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce does not endorse candidates participating in these forums. The Candidate Forum Series is designed to provide a fair, nonpartisan platform for public education, civic engagement, and meaningful discussion about issues affecting the Fairbanks North Star Borough and Interior Alaska.
