This forum will bring together candidates seeking to represent Senate District Q and House Districts 33 & 34 in the Alaska Legislature for a focused discussion on the issues affecting Interior Alaska’s residents, businesses and economy.
Topics may include:
Alaska’s budget and long-term fiscal policy
Taxes and the cost of doing business
Energy costs and reliability
Housing and workforce availability
Transportation and infrastructure
Economic development and private-sector growth
Education and workforce development
State services and public safety
How legislators can better support Interior Alaska businesses and employers
The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce Candidate Forum Series provides a professional, nonpartisan opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their priorities, perspectives and approach to the decisions that affect our community and state.
Open to the Public
You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend. Registration is required, and advance registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
Registration Options:
Listening Fee: $5
Lunch: $30 Chamber members | $35 non-members
Table of 8 with lunch: $300 members | $325 non-members
Ask the Candidates
In addition to questions developed by the Chamber’s forum planning committee, attendees will have opportunities to participate and hear candidates respond to questions focused on the issues that matter to Interior Alaska, our economy and our business climate.

The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce does not endorse candidates participating in these forums. The Candidate Forum Series is designed to provide a fair, nonpartisan platform for public education, civic engagement and meaningful discussion about the issues facing Interior Alaska.
