About this Event

Walking with Pehuén traces how the Pehuén tree (Araucaria Araucana) came to travel from Wallmapu, the ancestral territory of the Mapuche nation in Chile, to the Pacific Northwest. Rooted in a relational approach to image making, the film moves between interviews, archives, and experimental analog processes, approaching the Pehuén as a living being and witness to histories of territorial dispossession, colonial botany, and extractive forestry.

This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, and registration is recommended.
