Casual Conversation with Ven. Pomnyun Sunim

This in-person event welcomes audience members from all walks of life to ask questions on any topic they choose.

Ven. Pomnyun Sunim will conduct a Dharma Question and Answer session students and all members of the UBC community and wider public.

Ven. Pomnyun Sunim is one of South Korea’s most influential religious leaders, widely recognized for his advocacy for peace and his leadership in engaged Buddhism, an approach that applies Buddhist principles to contemporary global challenges. He has been honored with prestigious awards including the 2002 Ramon Magsaysay Award and the 2020 Niwano Peace Prize.
