Where’s The Puck – A Blind Hockey Documentary Private Screening & After Party

Join us for an exclusive private screening of Where’s The Puck? – A Blind Hockey Documentary in downtown Vancouver at the popular Scotiabank Theatre. This special event brings together athletes, families, supporters, and the community for a morning of storytelling, connection, and celebration.

This is a not‑for‑profit project, and all ticket sales go directly toward covering the cost of the venues.

After the screening, if you have a Combo Ticket, head across the street to Ballyhoo Public House for a chill after party. Ballyhoo is a vintage‑modern neighbourhood pub that features a 1970s New York City bar aesthetic, a pool table, and a comforting menu of pub favourites. It sits inside an 80‑year‑old historic building next to the Scotiabank Theatre and has a boisterous, lived‑in feel with local craft beers on tap and classic cocktails.

With a Combo Ticket, handheld pub food is included, and you’re welcome to order more from the menu if you’d like. Drinks aren’t included, but Ballyhoo has a full bar with plenty of options if you want something.

Come celebrate this incredible moment with us and watch the documentary before it premieres on TELUS Optik TV.

Movie Description:

Where’s the Puck? follows Lucas Desrochers, who lost most of his sight within three months at the age of nineteen. In Vancouver, he finds Blind Hockey and a community that brings him back to the ice. Lucas trains, learns the sport’s history, faces the realities of sight loss, and competes at the Western Regional Tournament. His journey ends with mentoring the Junior Canucks Blind Hockey Team and helping young players find confidence and belonging.
