Butterfly Identification and Surveys at St Cathrines Hill, Winchester

Join Wilder Communities Officer, Steve Bolton, for a guided walk around St Catherines Hill nature reserve looking at butterflies and practising recording techniques.

The workshop is aimed at beginners but all levels are welcome. It will be a good opportunity to meet like-minded people and learn how we can use butterflies to monitor the health of the environment in your local area.

Parking is available at East Winchester Park and Ride car park where we will meet before walking through Cowslip Meadow to St Catherines Hill.

Please wear appropriate footwear for walking on uneven ground.
