Winchester for Locals guided walking tour

A walk covering things you probably don't know about your own city even if you've lived here for years! There’s also plenty to interest those who are new to Winchester.

Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre.

Take a tour of familiar Winchester but with a guide who will point out buildings, features, icons, objects and structures that you may have passed by many times but possibly not noticed or know anything about! How much will you discover about a city you believed you knew well?

The route is accessible to wheelchair users. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Tickets are £12 for adults, £5 for children (under 16) and available in advance through the website or in person on the day at the Visitor Information Centre subject to availability.

Child Ticket - You will need to undertake a separate second transaction to the one used to purchase the adult tickets in your group. When booking for the children select the number of children's tickets you require under general admission category, enter the promotional code CHILD and click apply. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Carer Ticket - Tickets for an essential carer are free. You will need to undertake a separate second transaction to the one used to purchase the other tickets for your group. Please select one ticket under general admission category, enter the promotional code CARERFREE and click apply. This allows the tickets to be purchased for free.
