2pm Lower Winchester Guided Walking Tour

Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre.

The tour visits Abbey Gardens before passing the City Mill and following the River Itchen to College Street. It then explores Wolvesey Castle and continues along College Street passing Winchester College and Jane Austen's house to finish in the Cathedral Close.

Adult tickets are £12 and can be booked online or on the day from the Visitor Information Centre. Accompanied children under 16 are free. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The tour will take place in rain or shine so please dress appropriately and wear sensible footwear.

Adult ticket: £12

Child Ticket - Free for under 16s. You will need to undertake a separate second transaction to the one used to purchase the adult tickets in your group. When booking for the children select the number of children's tickets you require under general admission category, enter the promotional code CHILDFREE and click apply. This allows the tickets to be purchased for free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Carer Ticket - Tickets for an essential carer are free. You will need to undertake a separate second transaction to the one used to purchase the other tickets for your group. Please select one ticket under general admission category, enter the promotional code CARERFREE and click apply. This allows the tickets to be purchased for free.

T ickets can be bought via Eventbrite until 9am on the morning of the tour. After this any remaining tickets can be purchased in the Visitor Information Centre.
