Join Assistant Reserves Officer Tom for a relaxed summer walk through a usually inaccessible part of the nature reserve.
About this Event

An opportunity to explore Winnall Moors in summer and hopefully see the visiting species that rely on the nature reserve. The River Itchen flows through the length of the reserve providing water for wet grassland, reedbeds, wet woodland and a network of smaller water courses. This is a chance to see the water meadows in action and learn about our approach to floodplain management.

The walk will be approximately 2 miles long and take around 2 hours. Please be aware that the ground will likely be very sodden and uneven under foot, a decent level of physical fitness is required. Please wear and depending ont the weather bring a raincoat or sunhat with you. And if you have them make sure to bring your binoculars!

Please note dogs are not allowed on the reserve and the guided walk is only open to those aged 18 years +. Public parking available nearby.

Please note only 1 ticket can booked via Eventbrite at any one time. All donations rasied from this event will support the Trust's nature reserves.
