I'd like to introduce you to Pretty, a remarkable little girl who always sees the good in everyone. Regardless of the challenges she faces, she responds with kindness, compassion, and genuine love—making the world a better place one friendship at a time.
Brenda Tarrida has always had a creative side. As a young girl, she loved drawing and playing the piano. Later in life, she applied that creativity to interior design work for her husband, a building contractor, and it seemed to come naturally to her. She then created an award-winning secret garden complete with a koi pond and a bridge leading to a gazebo. After slowing down on gardening, she discovered a passion for tango and danced for quite a few years. It was no surprise when she later turned to writing, inspired by one of her favorite sayings: "Pretty is as Pretty Does." When her children were young, Brenda started a successful janitorial business, which she still manages today, 34 years later. After the loss of her husband, she found a renewed purpose in helping friends and family whenever they needed support. Now, in anticipation of her book's release, she is checking items off her bucket list. She has already gone parachuting, had her first helicopter ride and white water-rafting, and has many more adventures and travels ahead.
