Community House Blessing & Gaṇeśa Pūjā
You are warmly invited to join us for a gentle and meaningful House Blessing Ceremony as we welcome a new home with gratitude, intention, and community.
May this home be filled with peace, laughter, good health, meaningful friendships, and countless beautiful memories. We would be honoured to celebrate this new beginning with you. Please RSVP if you’d like to join us and the address will be provided. There is a capacity limit so please be mindful if you no longer wish to attend so another may do so, or if you’d like to only attend a portion as we know not all will stay for the Song Circle and some may only come for the singing.
Drawing from an ancient Indian tradition, we will begin with a simple Gaṇeśa Pūjā, invoking auspicious beginnings and the removal of obstacles. Together, we will create a beautiful floral mandala (rangoli) as a collective offering, setting intentions for peace, abundance, harmony, and wellbeing within the home.
This gathering is an opportunity not only to bless a new space but also to celebrate the spirit of cOMmunity coming together to share food, laughter, stories, and our heartfelt wishes for the family.
What to expect:
* (4 pm) Potluck meal (please bring a dish to share)
* (5 pm) Simple Gaṇeśa Pūjā by Sarada Pranav and Vedic Scripture talk on community by Harish.
* Creating a collaborative floral mandala
* Intention setting and blessings for the home
* Time to connect in community
* (7 pm) Blessing by Senna Scott
* Song Circle Gathering to bring our voices together in blessing this space to bring healthy human connection at the forefront. The five elements will be a theme in the songs and whatever brings your heart alive as well.
* (9:30 pm) Closing circle.
