About this Event
Join Meghan Gifford and Jason Harris for a deeply grounding morning of breathwork, meditation, and yoga designed to gently awaken the body, calm the mind, and help you move into the day with greater clarity and ease.
The practice will begin with guided breathwork and meditation led by Meghan inviting you to arrive fully, connect inward, and create space for intention and presence. Jason will then guide the group through a gentle, somatic yoga practice focused on mindful movement, breath awareness, and moving energy in the body. The morning will close with breathwork and reflective meditation led by Meghan, offering space to integrate the practice and carry a greater sense of self compassion and groundedness into the rest of your day.
Options and modifications will be offered throughout, making the experience welcoming and accessible for both newer students and experienced practitioners alike.
Yoga on Connecticut, a community yoga project in partnership with Van Ness Main Street, is excited to offer yoga for the neighborhood—creating a space where mindfulness, connection, and community can come together.
This is a donation-based class, with a portion of proceeds supporting the NW Food Bank—an important resource in our community. If you’d like to contribute directly, they are currently collecting pet food donations to share with those in need.
Please arrive a little early to settle in and set up your space before class begins.
Please note: This is a simple pop-up style class, so participants should bring their own mat and any preferred props (blocks, straps, blankets, etc.), as they will not be provided. 18+
