About this Event
GenerationDMV Check-in
Mental health is often talked about, but rarely practiced in real time, especially for Black men.
This in-person check-in is designed to create a space where Black men can learn, reflect, and walk away with tools they can actually use. Emotional Regulation for Black Men is not just a conversation, it’s a practical, solution-focused session centered on navigating stress, anger, and emotional control in everyday life.
Attendees will be guided through real-life scenarios, interactive discussion, and actionable strategies that can be applied immediately, whether at work, in relationships, or during high-pressure moments.
This experience is about breaking cycles, building awareness, and strengthening emotional discipline, without judgment.
💡 What to Expect:
A safe, supportive, and honest environment
Practical tools for managing stress, anger, and emotional triggers
Real-time strategies you can apply immediately
Guided discussion led by a Leadership Speaker & Life Coach
Opportunities to connect with other Black men in community
🎯 Why This Matters:
Too often, Black men are expected to carry everything, silently. This session creates space to unlearn that pattern, build healthier responses, and prioritize mental wellness in a real, accessible way.
