Become a Home Inspector (House of Horrors in CO)

Class sizes will be limited, and state guidelines for COVID-safe protocols will remain in place until further notice.

This 5-day training is for anyone new in the home inspection business or an experienced inspector looking to enhance their skills. You will be guided through the House of Horrors®, an entire house with over 1,000 defects, by Certified Master Inspectors. This hands-on training will help prepare you for your home inspection certification. This class is geared towards beginners.

During This Training You Will Be:

• instructed by several Certified Master Inspectors®;
• performing inspections at the House of Horrors®;
• practicing writing home inspection reports;
• test-driving over $20,000 worth of inspection tools;
• given free textbooks; 
• networking with other inspectors;
• given the chance to win special prizes; and
• meeting with the InterNACHI® Marketing Team to begin developing your company's own personal brand.

This training includes performing inspections at the House of Horrors®, an entire house with a thousand defects built under our roof at InterNACHI® Headquarters. You'll learn how to find all of the defects we intentionally installed in this amazing facility. There are over 120 defects in the plumbing system alone! 

Students are required to complete the online entrance exam prior to the class. It is recommended that students complete courses within the CPI certification program prior to the class. 

InterNACHI has prerequisites for this training to ensure that students are getting the most hands-on time as possible. You must read and review the presentations prior to the class. These materials are given upon registration. Check your confirmation email for further instructions.
