Bacchanalia Wine Tasting Competition and Fundraiser

Delight in a delicious buffet, sway to a live jazz trio, mingle with friends old and new, and get in on our raffles and silent auction—including a Caribbean escape. Come taste, rate, and crown the winning wine, while raising a glass for a great cause!

Here's how it works:

Form a team of between 1 and 4 people.

The team brings 3 bottles of the exact same red wine. You can choose any red varietal (e.g. Pinot Noir, Cabs, etc.) just as long as each bottle is the same. There is no minimum or maximum dollar amount you need to spend.

Turn in the three bottles of wine at the event. Two are uncorked for blind tasting and scoring by the crowd. The third bottle is placed in reserve.

The wines are assigned numbers and can all be blind-tasted throughout the evening. Everyone will be asked to vote on their favorite wine, using score cards provided on arrival.

The winning wine is announced at the end of the night. The team that brought the top wine wins 40% of the unopened bottles of wine each. 2nd through 4th place teams each take 20% of the remaining unopened bottles.

There will also be a raffle so be prepared to buy tickets for a chance to win awesome prizes - all for a good cause!

Teams can purchase wine through Vessel if they choose. Vessel will then hold your wine and we will have it ready to be tasted the night of.
