ASHTANGA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING – PRIMARY SERIES
A two-week Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in Athens with internationally renowned teacher Christina Karitinou, taking place from 27 December 2026 to 8 January 2027.
Christina Karitinou is a Certified Senior Ashtanga Yoga Teacher who has been teaching since 1991, continuing the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. She has studied closely with Linda Kapetaniou, Derek Ireland, Manju Jois, and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois himself, one of the most influential teachers in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. For decades, she has shared her experience and passion for the practice through workshops, teacher trainings, and retreats around the world.
The programme is designed for practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of the philosophy, practice, and teaching of Ashtanga Yoga, as well as for those who wish to follow the path of becoming professional teachers.
At the same time, it offers a valuable opportunity for personal growth and empowerment, including for those who do not intend to teach immediately but wish to experience a deeper physical and inner transformation through the practice.
