ASCape Woodworking Workshops
About this Event
In a series of two day workshops at the Common Practice workshop, Alfy, Josie and Jack from Common Practice will work with members of ASCape to fabricate a piece of furniture for each participant (aged 12yo+). The workshop will begin with a model making session, exploration of examples and discussion to decide what the participant will make during the remainder of the workshop.
If support is needed, a parent-carer is very welcome to stay on site to support their young person with their project.
Each workshop runs from 10am - 4pm on TWO CONSECUTIVE DAYS with a break for lunch. Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided, but please provide your own lunch.
The cost for this activity is £25 per child/ young person for each 2-day workshop. If finances are tight, please message [email protected] for a discount
Your ticket covers BOTH days of the workshop*.
The dates of the workshops are:
- Monday 24th AND Tuesday 25th August
- Wednesday 26th AND Thursday 27th August
- Friday 28th AND Saturday 29th August
(*Please select the ticket for day 1 of your chosen workshop; you only need to buy one ticket for both days)
