American ex-pat twenty-three-year-old Skye Sullivan is Influence Manager for Amsterdam's hottest startup. CoHab is a co-living community founded by charismatic Silas Hayes, and earmarked as the Next Big Thing. Everyone wants to work there.
But Skye has a front-row view of the chaos inside. About the author:
J. D. Maduro is the pen name of Jennifer van der Kwast, a Dutch/American writer who has been living in the Netherlands for over 14 years. While living in New York she worked in the film industry, as well as publishing. Her writing appeared in the New York Magazine, New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, Time Out, and the Washington Post. K*ll Story is her debut psychological thriller.
About the moderator:
Alison Edwards is an Australian/British author and linguist. She was born and raised on the south coast of New South Wales. She has lived in Europe and the UK ever since semi-failing to return home from a university exchange program in Germany. She studied journalism and international studies before obtaining a PhD in linguistics at the University of Cambridge. She is now based with her family in Amsterdam, where she works as a translator, editor and sometime academic. Her debut novel Two Daughters was published by Atlantic Books Australia in November 2024.
