7th Annual Bay Area Youth Climate Summit — 2026
About this Event
Our 7th annual Bay Area Youth Climate Summit is coming up this September! Our theme this year is Progress Over Perfection: Celebrating a Movement in Motion. We are aiming to execute our largest and most impactful summit yet!
Every year, the Bay Area Youth Climate Summit hosts over 200 attendees in a day of learning, networking, and fun! Our FREE summit features an inspiring keynote and 13+ workshops across many fields: student organizers, local non-profit & collective leaders, filmmakers, journalists, environmental educators & artists, and more. They'll bring their knowledge of BIPOC environmental justice, climate science, urban planning, public policy, sustainable industry, youth empowerment, mental health, and other fields. A comprehensive list of workshop offerings will be published soon.
Our lunch activity fair will feature tabling from local organizations, a thrift booth, photo-ops, pot decorating, book swaps & policy-related booths! Network with youth across the Bay and learn how you can take action in your community. Lunch is provided for free for all attendees, and public transportation stipends are offered to those who qualify. Note that the Brower Center is only 1 block from the Downtown Berkeley BART Station!!!
As we wrap up, you can win prizes in our raffle and make connections that will last a lifetime. Youth, adults, and educators are all invited!
