About this Event
Part of Talking Chester — a full day of talks, films and Q&As at Chester Picturehouse on Saturday 23rd May.
Join Russell Kirk, creative director of Chester's much-loved Midsummer and Winter Watch Parades, for a conversation led by Neuza Morais of the University of Chester. This Q&A delves into the stories behind two decades of puppets, people and processes — celebrating twenty years of bringing communities together through creativity, making and shared experience on the streets of Chester.
Whether you've watched the parades for years or are simply curious about the magic behind them, this is a rare chance to hear the stories that don't make it into the programme.
Chester Picturehouse, Screen 4.
Doors Open: 10.50am, seating is unreserved.
Cancellation Policy: Please notify us in advance if you are unable to attend this event. Tickets are limited and could be transferred to another person with notice. Love our Heritage – let’s share it with everyone.
