Kenya-born, Irish by blood and UK-resident, Ben Kane has sold more than two million books worldwide, with eleven Sunday Times Top Ten bestsellers to his name. His passion for history has taken him to more than 60 countries — including hundreds of miles walked in full Roman military gear.

In this talk, Ben focuses on his Spartacus series, exploring the research, drama and human stories behind Spartacus: The Gladiator and Spartacus: Rebellion — and what drew him to one of history's most iconic and enduring rebel figures.
