🪷 Techno Yoga | No Mud, No Lotus 🪷
Join us on the 4th of May as we celebrate spring, the body and the breath together at Basement CPH with a collaborative installation with artists Natasha (@technoyogagirl) and Catalina Premezzi (@art.khemia). Just like the lotus flower emerges from the mud, we honor the earth beneath us as we bloom ~ brighter & brighter with the sun 🌞🌻

There will be two 1 hour and 15 minute sessions : 17:00-18:15 & 18:45-20:00, please be mindful which time spot you book and arrive on time. Doors open 25 minutes before the event so you have time to feel into the space ✨

The event is inspired by the theme from Vietnamese Monk Thich Naht Hanh, "No Mud, No Lotus - The Art of Transforming Suffering" 🪷 With art, music, collage, collaboration, and reflection, this installation unfolds as a suspended landscape behind the stage, as a quiet field of blooming forms emerging from past cycles. The work reflects on the beauty that can arise after endings, a reminder that transformation, like spring, grows from what once seemed to have reached its final form 🌷

The music will explore soundscapes that emerge from honoring parts of the process, reflecting through various techno and electronic genres and surrounding to create a journey of sound, emotion and experience together with the body. The music is curated by Natasha and the yoga session is guided by her as well. All yoga levels are welcome, including beginners as we flow more with the process rather than finding perfection 🌱

What is Techno Yoga? Techno Yoga is a project developed by artist and yoga teacher Natasha ~ to transform through music, yoga, self expression, karma yoga and community. By combining elements with sound, art therapy, yoga philosophy and personal experience and so much more - it has become a foundational practice in exploring the self through creativity, release and radical love.

Ticket price is 180kr in total which includes all the ticket fees/VAT and a portion of your ticket is donated to a charity. You are always welcome to ask the organizer more info about the charity and where your effort is going towards.

About the artists:
Natasha is an artist and yoga teacher based in Copenhagen. With a background in yoga, karma yoga, music, and art therapy, her events are a heartfelt blend of creativity, healing, and community. Her intention is to offer inclusive, expressive, and accessible spaces that honor connection and the joy of mindful practices.
Catalina Premezzi is an Argentine analog collage artist based in Copenhagen and the creator of Art Khemia, a project that explores creativity as a process of transformation, emotional expression and social interaction.

Please bring your own mat to the space, if you do not have a mat, please contact us 24 hours before the event to reserve one via: [email protected] or on instagram @technoyogagirl. Please bring a water bottle with you to ensure that you stay hydrated. There are NO refunds or exchanges on tickets, if you can’t make it you are welcome to resell it to a friend or gift it as a donation to the event and the charity we are giving to.

It’s important to be mindful of your own body and enjoy the practices together and respect those around you. If you have any concerns, injuries or limitations - please communicate this to any teacher or organizer so we can try to accommodate you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
