🐾 $10 Adoption Fees May 15–17 | Empty the Shelters is BACK!* 🐾We’re celebrating 10 years of BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters events with $10 adoption fees for adult animals at Cincinnati Animal CARE!
From Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17, adoption fees for adult dogs and cats (6 months and older) are just $10—making it easier than ever to bring home a new best friend. With nearly 350 eligible pets, your perfect match could be waiting right now.

💛 Important Adoption Info:
$10 adoption fee applies to adult animals (6 months+)
Mandatory Hamilton County dog license: $19.75 (HamCo residents only)
$5 service fee applies to every adoption
As the Hamilton County animal shelter, we take in every stray dog and care for thousands of animals each year. Spring is one of our busiest seasons, and every adoption directly helps us create space for the next animal in need.
Thanks to the support of BISSELL Pet Foundation, adoption fees are reduced so more pets can leave the shelter and start their next chapter in loving homes.
