Join Women Sharing the Outdoors at Gorman Heritage Farm for an engaging introductory workshop on micro-farming and sustainable living. We will explore the farm, gain insights from the staff and maybe even get your hands dirty! Whether you have a backyard, balcony, or just a sunny windowsill, this session will show you how to turn limited space into meaningful impact.
What You’ll Learn: This beginner-friendly workshop explores practical, accessible ways to start your own “micro-farm” - no space is too small!

Participation includes a free door prize raffle, with a chance to win a one-year membership to Gorman Heritage Farm, plus other wonderful giveaways. You will also receive post event resources including digital links that will help you on your journey to create your own successful small space garden or micro-farm.
Cost: $ 30 fee to offset our costs of presenters, supplies, door prizes, refreshments, etc. Only 20 spots available!
In respect to the Izaak Walton's Women Sharing the Outdoors (WSO) mission of female encouragement and involvement, this will only be available to female participants. Therefore, we welcome all women, daughters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and sisters alike, 18 years or older.
