工作坊於室內開展與總結，期間設有戶外考察環節。參與者將進行對話、發聲練習、步行觀察及錄音。

是次工作坊是嚴瑞芳創作的實地協作研究與序章，所得素材將蘊釀成十二月呈現的委約展演，探索聲音與個人敘事。她邀請參與者結伴重返Para Site於堅尼地城李寶龍路的誕生地，呼應年輕藝術家昔日開拓展覽空間的精神。我們以聲音為媒介，思考個體如何渴望被感知、被銘記及被傳遞，從而詰問「發聲」的本質——一種稍縱即逝的宣言。

我們會互相分享個人自述，尋找字裏行間浮現的關鍵詞，轉譯為呼吸與聲音的探索。在李寶龍路，我們細聽其聲景，並以其階梯建築環境為指引，拆解由自我衍生的表達與儀式，最後將標準的個人簡歷改寫為聲頻肖像。

The workshop begins and ends indoors, with an outdoor excursion in between. Participants will engage in dialogue, voicing exercises, walking observation, and recording.
This workshop serves as a collaborative field study and prelude for Yim Sui Fong's upcoming commissioned performative work in December, exploring sound and personal narratives. Returning to the birthplace of Para Site on Li Po Lung Path in Kennedy Town, we echo the spirit of the young artists who once carved out an exhibition space. Through sound, we consider how individuals yearn to be perceived, remembered, and transmitted—framing the act of voicing as an ephemeral declaration of the self.

By sharing our biographies, we identify keywords emerging from the gaps between words, translating memories into physical and vocal explorations. Tuning into the soundscape of Li Po Lung Path and using its terraced architecture as our guide, we unpack notions of articulation and ritual as they relate to the self, adapting the standard biography into a portrait made of living voices and frequencies.

其他重要事項：

2. 由於工作坊有部分環節會在戶外進行，加上近期天氣炎熱，我們強烈建議您自備防蚊用品、手提風扇、水樽，並穿著舒適運動鞋和適合戶外活動的衣物。
3. 惡劣天氣安排：如香港天文台在原定集合時間前兩小時發出黑色暴雨警告信號，或三號或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號，活動將會取消。若遇上一號熱帶氣旋警告信號、黃色或紅色暴雨警告信號，或雷暴警告，主辦方將根據實際天氣情況決定是否修改或取消活動。
4. 健康聲明：參加者確認其精神及身體狀況良好，並具備參與此活動的能力。
5. Para Site 保留隨時更改、取消或修改活動安排的權利。所有活動改動的決定，包括但不限於運作、安全或不可抗力等原因，均以主辦方之最終決定為準。

Other important notes:

1. Some sections of the Li Po Lung path require walking uphill or downhill with stairs. If you have any accessability needs, please reach us at [email protected] or 2517 4620 so we can make assessment and arrangement accordingly.
2. Since part of the workshop will be conducted outdoor, with the latest hot weather condition, we strongly recommend to bring your own mosquito repellent, fan, water bottle and wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for outdoor activities.
3. Inclement Weather Arrangements: The event will be cancelled if the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Black Rainstorm Warning, or a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above, two hours prior to the scheduled meeting time. In the event of a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 or a Yellow or Red Rainstorm Warning or Thunderstorm Warning, the organizer will determine whether to modify or cancel the activity based on actual weather conditions.
4. Health Declaration: Participants confirm that they are in good mental and physical health and possess the capacity to participate in this activity.
5. Para Site reserves the right to postpone, cancel or modify the programme format at any time. All decisions regarding programme changes are at the organisers’ discretion and are final, including but not limited to operational, safety or force majeure reasons.

嚴瑞芳，藝術家、教育工作者。她的實踐將聲音、行為與檔案工作視為社會協商的場域。她透過在城市空間中建構參與場域，探索「共同聆聽」如何詢問、重塑並排演社會關係，進而重新審視共同體的內涵。
嚴氏現居於香港，為天台塾的聯合創辦人及藝術總監，長期推動藝術家主導的學習與社會參與。她同時為 Ecologies of Participation（EoP）計劃研究員，該研究計劃探索藝術、建築與科技之間的參與式實踐。她現於香港中文大學藝術系任教。
她的作品曾於多個國際展覽及平台展出，包括聆聽雙年展（2025）、《ODDKIN》，香港歌德學院（香港，2025）、《不/可見的光譜：華語文化圈當代影像藝》於倫敦大學亞非學院美術館（倫敦，2026）、《圓缺俱樂部》於大館當代美術館（香港，2022）、Landskrona Foto Festival（瑞典蘭斯克魯納，2020）、以及 國際藝術家電影(AFI) 系列放映於倫敦白教堂美術館（倫敦，2019），並曾於亞洲及歐洲多地發表作品。嚴瑞芳曾獲香港藝術發展獎藝術新秀獎2019/2020及WMA大師獎2017/18。

Yim Sui Fong is an artist and educator whose practice investigates sound, performance, and archival practices as sites for social negotiation. Constructing situational encounters within urban spaces, she explores how shared listening can disrupt, reshape, and rehearse social relations, re-interrogating the notion of the common.
Based in Hong Kong, Yim is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Rooftop Institute, an artist-led platform that positions learning as a form of social engagement. She is a project investigator for Ecologies of Participation (EoP), a transdisciplinary research initiative crossing art, architecture, and technology, and teaches at the Department of Fine Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at The Listening Biennial (2025); ODDKIN, Goethe-Institut Hong Kong (2025); In/Visible Spectrums: Contemporary Video Art from the Sinosphere at SOAS Gallery, London (2026); Emo Gym at Tai Kwun, Hong Kong (2022); Landskrona Foto Festival (2020); and Artists’ Film International at Whitechapel Gallery, London (2019), alongside further presentations across Asia and Europe. Yim is a recipient of the Hong Kong Arts Development Award for Young Artist (Visual Arts) and the WMA Masters Award 2017/2018.
