【音樂家的餐桌 Musician’s Table】貝多芬的、托爾斯泰的、楊納傑克的克萊采奏嗚曲

三位音樂大師貝多芬、托爾斯泰與楊納傑克，各自創作了名為《克萊采》的作品。究竟為何德國作曲家、沙俄文豪與捷克作曲家，跨越一個世紀，仍對〈克萊采奏鳴曲〉情有獨鍾？

PMQ 味道圖書館席廚師兼音樂家 Erikson Ting 將以味道會友，帶大家解讀此曲，更將聯同 Zeit Ensemble 演奏楊納傑克版本的選段及相關作品。適逢 2021 布拉格之春國際音樂比賽冠軍「阿睿提四重奏」來港演出，我們亦有幸邀請他們到場分享對這部作品的獨到見解。

Leo Tolstoy’s novel of the same name uses Beethoven’s “Kreutzer Sonata” as a catalyst for its intense emotional turmoil—it has even been cited by the Harvard Dictionary of Music as a work once viewed as a threat to social morality.

Across a century, three legendary figures—Beethoven, Tolstoy, and Janáček—each produced a masterpiece bearing the "Kreutzer" name. What is it about this piece that captivated a German composer, a Russian literary giant, and a Czech composer across more than a century?

Join PMQ Taste Library guest chef and musician Erikson Ting for a unique exploration of this work. Together with Zeit Ensemble, he will perform excerpts from Janáček’s version and related works, alongside a curated tasting inspired by the shared culinary traditions of Germany, Russia, and the Czech Republic.

Coinciding with the Hong Kong performance of Janáček’s Kreutzer Sonata by the Areté Quartet, winners of the 2021 Prague Spring International Music Competition, we are delighted to have them share their insights on this remarkable work.
