Born in Novosibirsk, Russia, raised in Israel, and now based in the United States, Yuri Liberzon has built an international career spanning major concert halls, universities, and festivals. In recognition of his artistic achievements, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services granted him Permanent Residency under the Alien of Extraordinary Ability category.

Yuri has performed extensively across the United States and internationally, with notable venues including the 92nd Street Y in New York, Legion of Honor in San Francisco, Lesher Center in Walnut Creek, and many leading guitar societies and universities. Collaborations include Grisha Goryachev, Patrick O’Connell, Piotr Pakhomkin, and flutist Josué Casillas, as well as orchestral performances with the Diablo Symphony Orchestra and Tahoe Symphony Orchestra.

A prolific recording artist, Yuri has released five albums, including two recent releases on the prestigious Naxos label: Music of Konstantin Vassiliev (2022) and Music of Astor Piazzolla (2024). Earlier recordings include collaborations with Grammy-winning producer Nahuel Bronzini, featuring works by Bach and contemporary Latin repertoire.

As a performer, Yuri brings a repertoire that appeals to all audiences, inviting both longtime lovers of classical guitar and those new to the genre to enjoy an evening of live performance that promises to be immersive, emotionally resonant, and technically brilliant.
