Carmel Guitar Society is delighted to present Emilia Díaz-Delgado at the Pacific Grove Art Center for an evening performance of classical guitar. Join us Saturday, July 25th, 2026, for a special night of world-class guitar music on the Monterey Bay.

Emilia Díaz-Delgado is a classical guitarist based in San Francisco, California, and one of today’s most exciting young voices in the classical guitar world. She currently studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division with renowned guitarists Meng Su and David Tanenbaum, where she has received multiple awards and distinctions for her outstanding musical achievements.
Emilia has studied with many of the world’s leading classical guitar artists, including Sergio Assad, Manuel Barrueco, Eliot Fisk, David Russell, Richard Savino, Bokyung Byun, Johan Smith, and Laura Snowden. Her performance experience includes collaborations with Omni Concerts, the South Bay Guitar Society, and Austin Classical Guitar, as well as guest appearances on NPR’s From The Top.
She recently premiered Chopiniana No. 10 by composer Sergio Assad, as part of a special collaboration between Assad and Knobloch Strings titled The Woman and the Guitar. Emilia is the recipient of numerous accolades, including top placements at the Guitar Foundation of America International Youth Competition (2022) and the James Stroud Guitar Competition (2023).
Deeply committed to community engagement, Emilia regularly organizes charity performances and community concerts benefiting organizations such as the National Audubon Society, Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, and the Homeless Children’s Network. She has also partnered with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and NotesForNourishment to bring more live classical music to diverse audiences.
