Youth Temple Retreat

In the midst of a busy and rapidly changing world, the hearts of young people also need a place to settle and find stillness. Fo Guang Shan Toronto warmly invites young people to participate in the Youth Temple Retreat, taking place April 10–12. With the theme “Vow and Practice,” participants will step into the temple and experience a simple yet fulfilling life of spiritual cultivation.

During this three-day, two-night program, participants will slow down and cultivate inner peace through activities such as Buddhist etiquette learning, Introduction of Buddhist Sutras, meditation, and chanting. These sessions provide an opportunity to stabilize the mind and body while learning how to apply the wisdom of the Dharma in daily life. At the same time, through shared learning and meaningful interactions, participants can connect and build sincere and meaningful relationships.

This is not merely an event, but a journey—one that reconnects with the self, encourages personal growth, and inspires the aspiration to walk the path of wisdom.

We warmly invite young people to step into the temple together, and in the presence of tranquility and wisdom, establish their vows and move forward with determination.
