About this Event
We're headed Off the Block again... but just for one day!
Join us on Saturday, August 23rd for a very special Yoga Block Party at Rockaway Beach 🏖️
Think of it as a mini-retreat from the city, a chance to start the day with beachside yoga and bask in the sun. We've got your transportation, yoga, and drinks covered — all you have to do is show up.
Meet up is at Union Pool (484 Union Ave) at 9:30 am to board our private bus, courtesy of OvRride. Drinks and a curated playlist included for the ride ✨ We'll be dropped off for yoga at 10:30 am at the Rockaway Ampitheater, which will provide a shaded, open space for us to move.
After we flow, the day is yours! We'll post up near Beach 97th with our big speaker and some games. The bus leaves at 5:30 pm, but you're welcome to take off anytime or stay longer :)
Your ticket includes:
- Round-trip private transportation from Union Pool (Williamsburg)
- Free drinks on the bus
- A cocktail of your choice from our partner bar, Rockaway Bazaar
- 60-minute Vinyasa yoga class at the Rockaway Ampitheater
- Music + vibes all day long
This is a great chance to get the feel of our Off the Block retreats, escape the city, and make some new friends. You in?!

Meet the YBP Founders
Brooklyn locals, Ashleigh Bello and Jules Karp, co-founded Yoga Block Party in the spring of 2023 to help bring their community together through movement, music, and connection. Since then, they've hosted 25+ events, taking over everything from parks and rooftops to the literal streets of New York. Working alongside live DJs, musicians, community organizations, restaurants, venues, and bars, their pop-up events have become a Brooklyn staple where everyone can feel like they belong.
Ashleigh and Jules are Yoga Alliance-certified yoga teachers and share a love of meeting new people, feel-good flows, creative collabs, Afrobeats, and Reggaeton. Join the fun!
