NPMTB XC CHAMPS 2026. Saturday 14 March. Save the date.This year’s format will be a multi lap loop, with number of loops differing between categories.
To be eligible for first place trophies riders need to be current NPMTB Club members on the day of the race.

March and April are looking like very busy months on the MTB calendar throughout the North Island.
This date has been chosen to fit in around as many of these events as possible, plus will give those riders heading to the Nationals an opportunity for a local race in the lead up.
• Calling out for volunteers who are available to get involved, whether that be marshalling on the day, running a BBQ, helping with the Sprockets event etc...

SPROCKETS EVENT XC CHAMPS Saturday 14 March
• We plan to run a separate sprockets event for our younger riders earlier in the day before the main event.
• Under 7yrs, Under 11 yrs and Under 14 yrs will compete on a course at the front of the forest.
• This is dependent on volunteers to stand up and help run the event. If you have younger family members who would be competing in this, and you are happy to help out, please get in touch. Ideally a few adults who are not planning on riding the main XC Champs.
