Connect through Creativity and Play!
Join us at Volcanoview for a relaxed, family-friendly creative experience where there’s no “right” way to make art - come for the art, and stay for lunch!
Designed for children aged 5-12 and their parent or caregivers (each ticket includes 1 child + 1 adult), this session is all about letting your child's creativity lead the way while connecting and bonding through the shared creative process.
Our Whānau Art Lab invites you and your young creative to create a one-of-a-kind canvas you will be able to take home. In addition to this, expect a couple of art play games and invitations welcoming imagination, exploration and connection to round up this unique creative workshop for you and your child.
We believe in celebrating every step of the creative process as a way to connect, grow, and nurture well-being. ❤️
This workshop is facilitated by Franzi Maciej, an experienced teacher and creative play advocate. With nearly two decades of teaching experience across Germany, the USA, and New Zealand, Franzi brings enthusiasm, joy, and a playful approach to each session. Her warm and inclusive teaching style helps children feel valued, safe, and inspired, and adults discover their inner child. 😊
What's included:
✨ All art & play materials
✨ A ready-to-paint canvas for each child/adult pair to create and take home (28 x 35 cm).
✨ Guided facilitation and playful invitations from Franzi.
✨ Cleanup, of course! We make it low-stress so you can enjoy the process.
Tickets are $65 and cover 1 child + 1 adult (recommended age group 5-12).
Please note, this session is designed as a shared adult-child experience, so an adult participates with the child.
