About this Event

This month, the World Percussion Series travels to the Afro Latin diaspora, where African rhythmic traditions and Latin musical styles have blended for centuries to create some of the most infectious grooves in the world.

Led by Charlie Gilbert, GEC's Music Director, these sessions introduce the patterns and pulses that shaped Afro Latin music, and give you the chance to play them yourself. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to find your rhythm.
