The Pit is hosted at the Nashville Musicians Association by Joe Hamm.
Nashville-based drummer and producer Joe Hamm thrives as a performing, writing, and recording artist.
A professional musician with extensive experience across an array of genres, Joe brings a DIY music-making foundation paired with a B.M. in Jazz Studies and Music Performance—along with a wealth of expertise, attention to detail, professionalism, and songwriting imagination—to every musical endeavor.
From studio sessions and artist showcases, original bands and artist projects on main stages, to collaborative co-writes with The HYVE, Joe is making things happen in Music City and beyond. Since his move to Nashville in 2024, he has worked with over 50 artists, regularly performing and recording for hire, as well as with Blue Sky Bandits, Sophie the Stray, and the Triple Dare Jazz Band.
