World Cup Player Colouring Class

Get ready to bring your favorite World Cup players to life with colors! This fun, in-person class is perfect for all ages who love soccer and art. Hosted by local sports and human rights and sports artist; Carling Jackson. Jackson is the player's official artist - she paints custom pieces for the very same players you'll learn to draw in this class. She is also the first artist to paint at a World Cup ! Formally trained at UBC's Teacher Education program - she also is a certiifed art teacher.

Each participant will get an 8.5x11 customized player card (Cristiano Ronaldo example) to colour OR a 12x16 wood panel canvas (Edson Alvarez example). Choose either option when you sign up. See below for examples.

The wood panel canvas takes me about 2 hours to prep. Both will include the players name and background colour (chosen by you) number and birthdate. We will then use Sennelier pastels from Paris in a painterly way to blend and colour the player. A basic outline of the player will be pre-drawn too.
