The Vancouver Visual Art Foundation invites you to get creative with our series of art classes taking place at Art Vancouver and taught by our incredible exhibitors.
This art class ticket includes all art supplies and 1 Day admission to the show.
Floral Focus
In a world that often feels fast and overwhelming, Floral Focus offers a sanctuary of peace. This class isn't about botanical perfection—it’s about using the simple, organic beauty of flowers as a guide for intuitive painting.It is a powerful way to quiet the noise and transform stress into something beautiful and grounding. By focusing on the rhythmic flow of petals and the vibrant energy of a floral group, you’ll learn to:
- Let Go: Release the need for "perfect" results and embrace the spontaneity of the moment.
- Express Yourself: Use colors and shapes to channel emotions that are often hard to put into words.
- Boost Creativity: Open your mind and heart to new artistic styles while rediscovering the pure, childhood joy of doodling.
No previous experience is necessary. Whether you are a seasoned artist or haven't picked up a pencil in years, this class is designed for everyone. We’ll show you how to make drawing fun again—the way it was always meant to be.Come as you are, and leave with a masterpiece of your own making.

About the Instructor:
Lisa studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise in Los Angeles, as a Fashion Designer before moving to Paris to work at Christian Dior. “Art is a way to express yourself, any kind of medium. Faces, landscapes, and flowers are my passion and I love trying something new within my work and am inspired by all aspects of art. Painting in oil, acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media. Lisa is continuing her studies through online classes as well as teaching them.
