About this Event
Each Saturday there are 2 classes:
12:00-1:30 - Urban Sketching Class
2:00-3:30 - Figure Drawing Class
* 30 mins break in between is to reach the location of the second class, talk, and have some snacks.
I recommend to come for both as they complement each other.
Though, it is up to you to visit both or just 1 class!

Weekly tutored
These lessons are for those who want to create for joy! You will learn & practice drawing human forms (in clothes) from observation with the medium of your choice. The class is for sketchers who are experiencing trouble with capturing human body proportions as well as beginner students.

Can't wait to see you in my class!
MORE DETAILS:
There will be a tutored session where I’ll lead you through the whole process. The lesson structure: warm-up, theoretical part, observation drawing with my supervision, the show - final discussions for the session and personal strategies. We’ll try many poses for one lesson. And you will be drawn multiple times as well!
By the way, we take photos to share on Social Media etc. Take a bunch!
You are joining my current group, so there will be around 10 students in every class, even if there are just a couple of registrations on this platform.
Class packs (E-transfer [email protected] with your name and contacts):
5 sessions - $75 (1.5 hours classes), $125 (2-in-1 sessions) - taxes included
10 sessions - $135 (1.5 hours classes), $225 (2-in-1 sessions) - taxes included
* Classes run year-round. During the winter, we'll be meeting indoors.
THINGS TO TAKE WITH YOU:
- Art supplies of your choice. The best option for the 1st lesson would be a pencil + eraser + sketchbook or paper on a sturdy surface (board/book). Instead, you can bring iPad, fineliner pens, gel pen. You can also take a couple of coloured pencils or markers.
- (optional) Something to sit on (consist of location, folding chair or foam pad would be great)
- Weather-appropriate clothes for outside locations (wear 1 layer warmer)
If you have any questions please email: [email protected] (messages in this platform often get lost). Also, I teach private classes for adults and kids in my Lougheed studio.
