Welcome to the Winter Well-Being Retreat at Shining Cliff Hostel and Woodland!

Sometimes, getting through winter can feel like a bit of a drag. We can become cooped up, experiencing those winter blues, so come and join us for a day of relaxation and rejuvenation in the beautiful surroundings of the hostel and woodland.

Lift your spirits and take a break from the daily routine and treat yourself to a day of self-care and wellness. Connect with nature, participate in guided meditation sessions, enjoy a calming sound bath, and engage in activities that promote well-being.

Whether you're looking to de-stress, recharge, or simply enjoy a day of tranquility, the Winter Well-Being Retreat at Shining Cliff Hostel is the perfect opportunity to focus on your health and happiness. But, all of the things on offer are optional, you may take part in as much or as little as you choose to. It is your day to enjoy as you want to.

What you will need:

• Please be aware that some of this event is outdoors in a woodland. You will therefore need to wrap up warm in several layers. Sturdy footwear is a must for the uneven, muddy paths. Please bring a pair of indoor shoes or slippers for the hostel.
• Your own lunch. Hot drinks will be provided throughout the day, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
• A yoga mat, and or sleeping bag/blanket to help you relax during the sound bath. (Small lighweight blankets are available to borrow.)
• Anything else that you want with you to help you to feel comfortable and relaxed.

REFUNDS: Please be aware that we are unable to refund tickets with less than 7 days notice. For refunds issued with more than 7 days notice, we are unable to refund the Eventbrite booking fees.

To ensure safety for all participants and leaders, a session can be cancelled or postponed by Woodland Connections at very short notice due to forecast high winds or thunderstorms. We will try to offer an alternative date if possible. If a suitable alternative date is not available, we will refund the full cost of the session. We will advise you if this decision has to be made either the evening before or morning of the session. Please check for emails or texts.
