Welcoming curious, wild-hearted folk to join us in 'Weaving Our Wild Ways' ~ a day of nourishing nature connection, co-creativity and community within Shining Cliff Woods on 2nd March 2025 from 11 am until 4pm.
Immersed and held in the magic of this ancient woodland, we three will invite and guide a weaving of word, song, dance and art, together, in natural co-creation.

Join us for a day of nourishing nature connection,
creativity & community, as we emerge from winter together.
Sunday 2nd March 2025 11am – 4pm
Immersed and held in the magic of the natural world we’ll weave word, song, dance & art together, in wild co-creation.

Investment scale from £33 to £66. Thank you for comfortably supporting us in accordance with your current means. We will donate at least 10% to the woods.
Held at: Shining Cliff Woods, Derbyshire, DE56 2HG. We will be outdoors for most of the day.
Please note: access is via an uneven track of about half a mile, which takes around 10-20mins to walk. We are sorry that this venue is therefore likely to be unsuitable for those with mobility issues, please talk to us about other events

This is us...
Sami LouLa ~ Bringing together deep, compassionate connection to earth with embodied experience, energy and expression of natural song, sound and unity, Sami is a Belper-based freelance Reiki teacher, mystic nature-inspired creative, and holistic wellness facilitator at Elephant Rooms CIC, Draycott. Sami has been listening, learning and working with nature for over 20 years; trained and practiced as an ecologist and nature recovery adviser with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and an MSc in Integrated Landscape Ecology, she now holds spaces to be, hear and serve new earth and community in the ways which emerge. Sami is a certified Usui Reiki master, natural mindfulness guide, shamanic drum and sound practitioner, and yoga teacher. She is founder of Belper Woods of Wellbeing, Naturality – a nature-based spirituality network, and, alongside Cherry, a co-founder and co-facilitator of Belper Earth Connection Group, co-hosting Earth Songs Circles and Earth Spirit Jams.
Cherry Anderson ~ Cherry is passionate about re-imagining the world through creative expression. Having freelanced as a graphic designer for over 20 years, she now specialises in working with change-making, regenerative organisations. Knowing the healing power of connecting people with each other and with nature, Cherry co-founded the Belper Earth Connection Group, which holds seasonal community gatherings, and through which she co-hosts the Earth Songs Circle. Previously she facilitated the Belper Women’s Circle and was chair of Transition Belper, helping to organise events which promote living in harmony with the natural world. Cherry is at home among the mossy rocks and ferns of Shining Cliff and finds endless inspiration in the patterns and beauty to be found there. She can’t wait to share this magical place with you, guiding you to connect ceremonially through visual expression, with nature’s gifts, to create our sacred space for the day.
Lucy Bird ~ Lucy is a dancer, facilitator, healer and sustainability professional. She leads NatureDance, a workshop style which enables people to deepen their connection with themselves and the rest of nature through movement and meditative practices. She works as a project manager for Derbyshire Dales Community Energy and has previously held sustainability management and education roles with Rambert Dance Company, Change Agents UK and the YHA. Her training includes: BA(Hons) in Ballet and Contemporary Dance (Rambert School), MSc in Sustainability and Adaptation (Centre for Alternative Technology) and Healing and Vibrational Medicine – Professional Practitioner Certification (Natural Harmony Centre). Lucy’s core values centre around interconnectedness, reciprocity, compassion and a love of Life. She believes in heart-led transformations and loves guiding others towards more connected, joyful, harmonious ways of living.
